My contribution this month is called, “Borders, Backgrounds & Blooms.” It includes 12 papers and 3 large floral corner elements. There is tons of texture and lots of fun prints and distressed scuffing going on in this kit, if that is your cup of tea. Everything is professional print quality and was created and saved at 300 DPI. A rigorous quality check has been performed on each item before bundling it all up to share because I am just an obsessive-compulsive worry wort about such things I want you to be happy with the quality of my work and have nothing but fun when you get to scrapping! ENJOY, my friends!
“HOPpy Easter” is my contribution to this month’s blog train at Digital Scrapbook. It’s full of all kinds of Easter goodies–pretty colored eggs, paint-splattered paper, a sweet leaping bunny, word art, and lots of shimmery glitter! I love Spring and Easter so making this was a total hoot. If you have half as much fun collecting and using it, then I am a very happy little scrap-designing bunny. Direct download after the image. And I would LOVE to hear what you think of it–good or bad–that is how we grow and learn. Lots more goodies using this color palette are available right here.
This was my response to the September 2021 Color Qi Designer Challenge issued at Digital Scrapbook.com. When I saw the gorgeous antique fuschia/dusty rose color the challenge centered around, I just had to play even though I was way late to the party. I made a palette including that color and then created this kit full of hearts and stars and daisies and lots of cute prints. The palette I created is also included in the zip just in case you want to make more items using the exact same colors, I hope you have as much fun using “Daisies & Doo-Dads,” as I had making it.
St. Patrick’s Day is gonna be here before you know it, so I thought it was time to share this kit that might help you scrap your “Wearing of the Green” adventures this year. This was made in response to the Digital Scrapbook.com March 2022 Color Qi Designer Challenge and I had the best time playing around with the color “Irish Green.”(So much fun that I couldn’t stop playing even after the preview image was done, so there are some “surprise” plaid papers included in the zip.)
I am so ready for Spring and gardening so I took this blog train as a chance to play in the dirt . . . digital dirt, but it was still a bunch of fun and I hope you enjoy my contribution this month. I couldn’t stop making things so there are a few late edition items not shown in my previews. I hope they will be nice surprises when you unpack your zips. I mean, who doesn’t love a surprise?
I had so much fun working with the fun colors for this month’s blog train and once I decided on making this about pets and adding neon accents, the rest was easy. I hope you have some pictures of your special dog or cat that you might use this kit with or a page that needs a neon heart or two to make it complete.

I took a few years off from designing and now that I am back, I am just not feeling the “Holly Wood” pseudonym anymore, so I am gonna go with my real name this time around. Feels good . . . like finally buying a size bigger pants after you’ve gained the Christmas 15 . . . aaaaaaaaaaaaaah. So pardon my mess while I try to sort my new . . . um . . . . old . . . um . . . original identity out and make everything matchy-matchy again. It might take me a while though. I’dmuch rather design more scrapbooking goodies than futz around with this blog design. Just being honest. So in case you were wondering, that is the scoop such as it is. All the links for the older “Made by Holly Wood” designs should still be functional if you are new around here and need to catch up on past freebies. (If you run into one that isn’t, let me know, please.) And they are all direct links so you don’t have to deal with captchas and trying to find the right download button in a sea of confusing ads. You’re welcome! I do love a nice, straight-forward, direct download link myself so there ya go.
I had so much fun making “Winter Wonderland” goodies, that I have a little add-on for you today. It’s a “Build-a-Brad Kit.” It includes 3 overlay options (Thanks for the flair styles, Sheila Reed.) + 25 sparkly decorations (Thanks for the glitter, Marisa Lerin.) + 25 brad base options + 25 ring trims. Lotsa possible combinations for you to play around with! (PS: I also included the red shimmery background paper that I used in my preview.) Enjoy, my friends!
